I’m quite lucky in the sense my skin hardly gets spots so I’ve never really had to buy products to get rid of spots as dry patches has always been more of a concern but last week, I noticed three massive spots on my forehead and one on my cheek and even after a few days they just wouldn’t go away, I wanted to try a sample of something to clear it up as firstly I’m extremely sensitive and secondly I didn’t think there would be much point buying it as it is rare I get spots, i was recommended the Mario Badescu drying lotion by a couple of people and I’ve wanted to try this brand for a while after hearing great things about their products by fellow bloggers so I decided to try it and I can say I was that impressed, I decided to buy it then I’ve got it if any more spots break out which obviously they will at some point even if it’s not often.
This drying lotion is a fast acting, effective, acne spot treatment that visibly reduces the size and appearance of a breakout. The product is formulated with two acne fighting ingredients: calamine lotion which helps to reduce redness and swelling and salicylic acid which penetrates deep into pores, exfoliating dead skin cells and reducing sebum production. Apply at night and it takes down your pimples while you sleep then you wash it off in the morning and no it won’t ruin your white bed sheets as once it’s on it completely dries, the application method is dipping a cotton bud into the pink sediment at the bottom of the bottle and dabbing it onto any whiteheads or red bumps. After the first application I noticed a huge difference and in 3 days my spots vanished, i was amazed at how effective it was, it is also really gentle so great for people with sensitive skin like me but whatever you do, don’t shake the bottle as the two separate products need to stay separate in order to work, if it does accidentally get shaken up, it’s not ruined, you just have to wait for it to separate again before you use it. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who suffers with spots, no more worrying a big spot will appear before a special occasion, thank me later.
