Nars hot nights face palette review

Today we are talking about a brand new, limited edition Nars product, the hot nights face palette which is part of their 2019 summer collection, the palette consists of four eyeshadows, a bronzing powder and a highlighter. Having been a huge fan of Nars for some years now, I was intrigued and excited to try this palette and I can say it was worth the £56 it cost me, I’ve been using it nearly every day, one thing I like is you can use the palette for either a day or night look, it is also very summery, the shadows and face products are big enough to get the appropriate brushes into them and there is also a large mirror that you can actually see your face in so perfect for doing your make up on the bus. Now let’s talk about the shades

The eye shadows are all very pigmented, creamy, soft, buildable and easy to blend. The first three shades: Pacific, Paradis and Maeva feel very smooth and silky while the fourth shade, black sand has a drier consistency, Tautira, the highlighter has such a creamy and silky texture, brilliant colour pay off and a glistening finish that looks like water reflecting in sunlight, it also looks more natural than a lot of highlighters and although it’s shimmery, it doesn’t look glittery, Mahini, the bronzer is soft and buttery with a matte finish, I’d say it is like the Laguna bronzer but cooler toned, I could go as far to say it is one of the best bronzing powders I’ve used, it is also excellent to contour with.
