Do you want your lashes to look long, volumous and dramatic? You’ve come to the right place, I’ve been meaning to tell you about this amazing lash primer and mascara duo for months and now I’ve finally got round to writing about it and I would say they are both on my list of must try products that I recommend to people.
Let’s start with the lash primer, while a lot of lash primers are white, this one is beige which means it will help intensify the colour of your mascara instead of greying it out like some lash primers can, it’s creamy formula will condition your lashes and coat them to maximise the benefits of your mascara and is really easy to apply evenly from root to tip, it also helps prevent your mascara from flaking, while the mascara does a good job itself, the primer definitely makes a difference, my lashes look fuller and longer with it underneath.
Now onto the mascara, it is inspired by Marc Jacob’s first beauty memory of his mother shaving fibres from a velvet ribbon to create her own couture false lashes and velvet noir is designed to recreate that look. The curvy, hourglass like brush makes it easy to apply and places the most volume at the hard to reach centre lash line and also reaches the inner and outer corner baby lashes, I’d definitely say it gives that false lash look, it really lifts your lashes and defines them, the thick, creamy formula is clump free and glides on so smoothly, it also lasts all day and still manages to look as perfect in the evening as it did when I left the house in the morning.
I have tried many mascaras in my time and plenty I’ve been impressed with but this one is something special along with the primer working it’s magic, the two products succeed to achieve dramatic, standout lashes, I don’t even need my lash curlers although I do use them anyway. Both products are £22 each adding up to £44 in total, I know some of you will think that’s a bit pricey but it is totally worth it for the quality, the effect and the greatness of the products.
